40 lb Demolition Charge

AES supplies high quality Mil-spec demolition products for both the defense and commercial markets. These products are supplied in blocks or bulk. Conical shaped charge demolition systems which are also manufactured and assembled include the 40 lb and 15 lb demolition charges. Sheet explosives are supplied upon special requests.

The M3A1 charge contains a 0.1 pound booster of Composition A3 and a 29.5-pound main charge of Composition B. It is packaged one charge per box. The charge is in a metal container. The cone liner is also made of metal. A metal tripod provides a 15-inch standoff distance.

Use: A shaped demolition charge's primary use is for boring holes in earth, metal, masonary, concrete, and paved and unpaved roads.
