15 lb Demolition Charge

AES supplies high quality Mil-spec demolition products for both the defense and commercial markets. These products are supplied in blocks or bulk. Conical shaped charge demolition systems which are also manufactured and assembled include the 40 lb and 15 lb demolition charges. Sheet explosives are supplied upon special requests.

The M2A4 charge contains a 0.1 pound (50gram) booster of Composition A3 and a 11.5-pound main charge of Composition B. It is packaged four charges per wooden box. This charge has a moisture-resisting, molded-fiber container. A cylindrical fiber base slips onto the end of the charge to provide a 6-inch standoff distance.

Use: A shaped demolition charge's primary use is for boring holes in earth, metal, masonary, concrete, and paved and unpaved roads.
